But actually it is mostly &#8230; logical. Anyone involved with energy today has felt it for some time: our power grids can no longer keep up with economic and technological growth.  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>This is not a temporary problem. This is a structural bottleneck.   <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Energy transition accelerates, power grid does not<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For years we have assumed one certainty: <em>power is always, everywhere and unlimited.<\/em> That certainty is disappearing. The demand for electricity is skyrocketing: <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>electrification of production<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>charging stations for staff and fleet<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>heat pumps<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>solar and wind energy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>batteries<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>data centers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>AI applications consuming huge amounts of power<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Everything runs on electricity. But the grid was built for a past without these surges. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The result: <strong>grid congestion<\/strong> (= saturation of the electricity grid). Those who wait risk ending up at the back. Big players have known this for a long time:  <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Data centers reserve capacity years in advance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>large-scale projects claim what is available<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And the SME? All warning lights are on. This is not doom and gloom. This is looking ahead.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Innovation in response: energy communities and off-grid<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some companies don&#8217;t wait. They <strong>anticipate<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We see more and more:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>local energy communities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>smart steering and flexibility<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>battery storage<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>partial or complete off-grid solutions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This requires innovation and creativity, but also boldness.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is to be hoped &#8211; and necessary &#8211; that the government supports and encourages these solutions while continuing to invest in the existing grid.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But as a company, you can&#8217;t wait for this. Those who stand still notice it less; those who want to grow, electrify or invest &#8230; <strong>are most at risk<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Grid congestion is not a technical detail.
